If an ingredient list contains these kinds of named botanical ingredients, it's a positive sign. If it contains "parfum" or "fragrance" without further disclosure, synthetic compounds are almost certainly present regardless of what the label says.
Natural vs Synthetic Fragrance Compounds
Most modern perfumery uses synthetic aroma chemicals - compounds created in a laboratory to replicate or enhance natural scents. They're not inherently dangerous, and many are structurally similar to compounds found in nature. But they are synthetic, and they're often hidden behind the single word "fragrance" on ingredient lists.
